College Mission Statement Redcliffe College is a vibrant cross-cultural community representing all ages and many nationalities. At Redcliffe we are passionate about training people for God’s mission and providing students with the necessary theological and biblical foundations to explore the various dimensions of this mission task. We seek to equip people with theological, personal and practical tools that can be used in all areas of life to express the Lordship of Christ. Course Information
Certificate (CertHE) in Applied Theology
This one year Certificate provides foundational training in biblical, theological and cross-cultural studies. The course also includes weekly and block practical mission placements (see below).
Diploma in (DipHE) Applied Theology
Specialised mission course for two years that significantly develops biblical, theological and cross-cultural understanding and skills. The course also includes weekly and block practical mission placements (see below).
BA (Hons) Degree in Applied Theology
This three year Degree builds on the Diploma and provides comprehensive training for full-time Christian service. The course also includes weekly and block practical mission placements (see below).
Professionals in Mission Certificate (CertHE)
This one year Certificate provides the necessary cross-cultural training to enable you to use an existing profession in a cross-cultural context. The course also includes weekly practical mission placements (see below).
Postgraduate MA in Global Issues in Contemporary Mission
This one year taught Masters focuses on key concerns within mission today - including globalisation, spirituality, religious pluralism, Pentecostalism and the environment.
Postgraduate MA in Global Leadership in Intercultural Contexts
The course will equip you to appreciate and meet the challenges of leading a global team. It will also give you the knowledge and understanding you need to shape an organisation to function effectively amid the ever-changing challenges of the global world.
Postgraduate MA in Intercultural Studies in Asian Contexts
This new MA will provide focussed postgraduate training for Asians and non-Asians seeking to become more effective in this exciting and challenging ministry.
Postgraduate MA in Sport and Christian Outreach
Drawing together applied theology, sport and community development, the course offers students both campus and placement learning opportunities, helping them to analyse, critique and develop this expanding field.
Postgraduate MA in Bible and Mission*
A new postgraduate course for those wanting to reflect on mission in the Bible and the Bible in mission.

Postgraduate MA in European Studies**
This unique MA combines the study of mission to and within Europe, with developing an understanding of how the past and current cultural influences present in Europe shape Christian practice.

Across the Cultures Short Course
This 12 week course focuses specifically on mission and cross-cultural issues by selecting the most relevant modules from the Certificate and Diploma courses.
Pick and Mix Short Course
This flexible short course (from 6 to 30 weeks) allows you to choose Certificate and Diploma course modules which are most relevant to your specific needs or requirements.

Practical Mission Placements With our undergraduate courses you are able to test your ministry and turn theory into practice with local weekly placements and annual block placements. Annual placements can be anywhere in the world and in any type of Christian ministry. Drawing on our links with over 50 agencies we will help you find the right assignment that will develop your particular gifts and interests.
Validation All courses (except short courses) are validated by the University of Gloucestershire.
