About Us We are an evangelical and non-denominational British theological college providing high-quality, innovative and flexible theological studies by open and distance learning. All degree courses are accredited by the University of Wales, Lampeter. Specialities include hermeneutics and Biblical studies at certificate, diploma, undergraduate, Masters and Ph.D. level. All courses are delivered via an innovative online eCampus that enables students to study from distance. The college also offers a number of short courses for those simply seeking a deeper knowledge of the Bible.

 

Course Information

Certificate in Higher Education in Biblical Hermeneutics (CertHE)

Available full-time or part-time by distance learning, this one year certificate is equivalent to the first year of the undergraduate BTh programme and focuses on Biblical hermeneutics and exegesis.

Diploma in Higher Education in Biblical Hermeneutics (DipHE)

Available full-time or part-time by distance learning, this two year diploma is equivalent to the first and second years of undergraduate BTh programme and offering courses in Biblical Studies and Theology.

Bachelor of Theology Honours in Biblical Hermeneutics and Theology (BTh)

Available full-time or part-time by distance learning, the full three year undergraduate programme incorporates the previous Certificate and Diploma levels followed by a further year's study in Theology and Biblical studies.

Masters in Evangelical Theology (MA)

Available full-time or part-time by distance learning, this one-year taught Masters programme provides Christians with a thorough, detailed and scholarly examination of Evangelicalism, with a special emphasis on current trends and developments within the movement.

Ph.D. Supervision in a variety of subjects available

In partnership with the University of Wales, Lampeter, a number of options for doctoral study is available.

Short Courses

Many of our undergraduate modules are available as independent study courses including Biblical Greek and Hebrew. In addition, a selection of internally validated modules are available for those wanting to seek foundational studies in understanding the Bible.
